Life gets more complicated every day. We're here to help you simplify yours. A Unique and Professional Company The company was founded in 1988 by Alice T. Clark and Debra G. Howard. They realized that many of the clients they met while working in the financial services industry were in need of assistance with their day-to-day affairs. When it proved difficult to find that help, they established Financial Advocates to meet those needs. As the senior population has grown, the company has expanded, adding offices and Advocates to serve the Central Florida area.

Alice T. Clark, CFP™

Alice holds a Finance degree from the University of Central Florida. She is also a Certified Financial Planner. Prior to founding Financial Advocates in 1988, Alice was a stockbroker with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, & Smith, Inc. In addition, she has several years of experience in areas of real estate, probate, and trust work.

Debra G. Howard

Debbie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Western Carolina University in North Carolina. Debbie was manager of the Taxable Fixed Income Department with Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc., for the State of Florida, and moved into the position of stockbroker prior to joining Financial Advocates.

Debra Hogan, CSA

Debbie is a Certified Senior Advisor^®. She joined Financial Advocates in 2000, having worked previously in the accounting field.

Robert B. Chapman, III

A graduate of Florida Trust School at the University of South Florida, Robert has over twenty years experience in the financial profession. Prior to joining Financial Advocates, he was a trust administrator with SunTrust Banks for fifteen years.
